Our goal is to provide Home and Community Care services to the people in the town site of Fitzroy Crossing and in Kurnangki and Mindi Rardi Aboriginal Communities.
In the Fitzroy Valley there has been an increased need for our service to expand and meet our client’s needs. We are concentrating on increasing our CHSP Services so the elders can maintain their independence at home for a longer period of time. Also by having a close relationship between residential based care and community care we can manage the transition to full time care as smoothly as possible.
CHSP provides services of various kinds to elders as well as young disabled people and their carers. These services include meals on wheels, transport, basic personal care, assistance with shopping, laundry,
assistance with medication, minor home maintenance, house cleaning and social support. Many of these services are provided at the specially designed CHSP centre in Fallon Road.
