OUR GOALTo help people express themselves, to feel good about themselves, and to become involved in promoting good health.
Objectives:
1   Train 2 local people to use the equipment and eventually run the program
 themselves
2   Link up with the 4 other major program areas in Health Promotion and assist the  programs with music and arts 3   Record music with the Community 4   Identify Community people who would be interested in developing Health  Promotional Material specific to the 4 other major Health Promotion programs
Strategies:
1   Seek funding to employ new staff
2   Train new staff to operate the equipment 3   Keep in contact with the rest of the Health Promotion Team, follow their  movements throughout the Valley and link up with them 4   Identify and Map Out Community people who would be willing to work with us  and also be contacts for us 5   Identify and document existing Health Promotional materials in the Valley
This program is for all communities. In 2006, the first community that will be given the opportunity to record an album will be Bayulu Community. It is envisaged that a different community will be offered the opportunity every 6 months. In addition to recording
albums, other communities will be able to record short health messages. |
